Filmed in Mexico, Mullen Lowe Group commissioned us to develop 3 days of activities for 11 TikTok influencers to encourage them and their followers to think about eating with a reduced eb]nvironmental impact. This would be presented as part of Knorr’s campaign for 2023’s ‘World Eat for Good Day’

The first day consisted of a Truth or Dare immersive game in the Mexican jungle. The stars were provided with tasks by the ‘Dare Duo’, facing the threat of getting a bucket of water thrown over them, putting their hands into mystery boxes, urns with smoky stink bombs or clambering through dark tunnels. This was then followed by blind tastings of Knorr’s recipes including low-impact foods including bugs, cactus and waste food including things like peel. This day had to be both immersive for the stars, allow filming opportunities for the professional film crew and prod]vide ideal moments and ways for the stars to film their own content.

The second day allowed an opportunity for the stars to learn and present how to cook Knorr’s recipes. On the coastline, the sand and sea backdrop allowed us to create a destination cooking experience for each presenter to create their own TikTok recipe presentation.

To celebrate a wonderful few days of discovery, the final event for the stars was a beautiful and dreamy dining experience where all the stars could share and try each other’s food and encourage followers to Dare to Try!

My role included sourcing props, decoration and materials both in the U.K. and Mexico, managing the Art Team on location, decorating all the influencers rooms with a bug theme, standing in for the role of Production Designer on Location and being on hand for the film crew and Mullen Lowe to create the perfect shots required.
