Candy Cansino was a world-spanning play following a female writer, ‘Dolly Wisconsin’ in 1950s Hollywood adapting the biblical story of ‘Judith’. The design of the settings was inspired by the technicolour films of the period, with numerous nods to the 50s influence on the costumes designed. Within Hollywood itself, there are musical numbers, balls and undercover investigators. Costumes were relatively muted in contrast to the film-world
